Withdrawn at half-time during last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Le Havre AC, it was later revealed that Salis Abdul Samed had been struggling with an ankle injury. That same injury will keep him out of RC Lens’ visit to FC Metz on Friday evening.

It was Neil El Aynaoui who replaced Abdul Samed on the night and it is expected that the Moroccan midfielder will start against Les Grenats as they look to leapfrog OGC Nice and into fifth place in Ligue 1. There are no other new injury concerns for Franck Haise to contend with on Friday evening.

Up front, it is expected that Wesley Saïd will get the nod ahead of Eleye Wahi and in midfield, Andy Diouf is expected to start over Nampalys Mendy.
