After rattling the crossbar with a volley against Manchester City last weekend, Tielemans rattled one in off the bar this week.

The midfielder tee’d himself up by controlling the ball on his thigh before unleashing an unstoppable volley which flew past Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and just kissed the underside of the upright on its way into the top corner.

Tielemans’ finish is unreal but look how the goal starts - Tielemans with a crunching tackle on Onana to recover the ball. Rodgers moving Tielemans into a double pivot with Soumaré (rather than playing 8) is responsible for this Leicester form upturn. And Tielemans is pure class.
