Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy has explained his celebration in the 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion.

The 33-year-old added to his impeccable record at the Hawthorns with two second-half penalties on Sunday.

And the Englishman celebrated by cupping his ears to the home stand despite their being no fans in attendance.

Explaining his actions to Sky Sports, Vardy said: "I've enjoyed playing here over the years. Getting a few goals and just thought I'd celebrate for the fans at home.

"It's massive for us, especially with how we finished last season. we've not had long to come back in for this season. So to start with three points, we're delighted and we'll take that into the next game.

"We just need to keep going. To keep working hard in training and taking it into the games."
