Leicester have long been linked to Olympiacos left-back Kostas Tsimikas to replace Ben Chilwell in the upcoming transfer window.

Since then, the likes of Liverpool, Napoli, Torino, and Inter have joined the race for the 23-year-old.

However, according to Greek newspaper FOS, the Reds are only interested in having Tsimikas as cover for Andy Robertson, while Napoli and Inter are believed to not want to spend more than €13m on the three-time Greece international.

Meanwhile, it’s believed Torino cannot even afford the €13m the other Serie A sides are offering.

The report also claims that not only is Tsimikas ‘destined’ for a move to the Premier League, but that Leicester City are the most serious party.

Olympiacos are said to want €25m for their prized asset but with just two years left on his current deal and the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic, it’s expected that a deal will be made for far less.

Tsimikas has made 37 appearances in all competitions for the Greek giants , providing seven assists.
