Leicester City boss Steve Cooper has expressed his frustrations with the Premier League regarding what he considers an incorrect VAR decision during last weekā€™s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The 44-year-old confirmed on Thursday that the Foxes have already contacted the league about the incident, seeking more answers. For Cooper and his team, allowing Palaceā€™s first goal was a mistake because a ā€œfalse imageā€ was used and the decision needs to be confronted.

ā€œIt was an awful human error that we believe has been hidden a little bit,ā€ Cooper said on the incident.

ā€œThatā€™s been as disappointing as the decision. We didnā€™t feel it was right, asked for clarity and have seen images that showed he was clearly offside.

ā€œEverything that has been seen has been a false image. Weā€™ve had a massive error go against us and we donā€™t want it to go under the radar because thatā€™s not fair on the players or the supporters.

ā€œErrors like that should never happen, especially with VAR. We felt very let down by it and we needed to stand up for the club and tell them what we thought.

ā€œWeā€™ll be on the end of good and bad decisions, thatā€™s football. But donā€™t hide away from mistakes.ā€

It remains to be seen whether the Premier League will comment. Meanwhile, Leicester aim to claim all three points this weekend as they welcome Everton to town on Saturday.
