The 22-year-old arrives at the King Power Stadium on a deal until the end of the season, with him due to return to his parent club Shakhtar Donetsk on July 1 2023.
Tetê had been at Ligue 1 club Lyon since March 2022 after the suspension of his contract with Shakhtar due to the situation around the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
He arrives as Brendan Rodgers’ second signing of the January transfer window, after Danish left-back Victor Kristiansen joined earlier in the month.
Tetê has chipped in with six goals and three assists in 19 appearances for Lyon this season.
