Leicester City have had some crazy times over the last few years.
From narrowly avoiding relegation to winning the Premier League within a season, to Champions League runs and FA Cup wins, ending in relegation down to the second tier, nobody could ever accuse the Foxes of being boring.
They have had some fantastic matches over the years, filled with drama, intrigue and excitement. Here are five of the craziest results Leicester have had.
In 2019, one of the highest scoring games in Premier League history took place. Leicester scored nine times against Southampton in a huge victory, which added even more misery on a poor Saints side that season.
The game saw two hat-tricks being scored (Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez), in a game that the Foxes completely dominated. This is also Southampton's second 9-0 loss in the Premier League, the other being against Manchester United.
This 5-3 encounter was an incredible display of attacking talent by the newly promoted side, and Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United. With superstars like Wayne Rooney, Robin Van Persie and Angel Di Maria in the side, winning against the Red Devils seemed an almost impossible task.
United went 3-1 up with goals from Van Persie, Di Maria and Ander Herrera. However, the Foxes fought back in the second half with four goals. Jamie Vardy, Estaban Cambiasso, Leonardo Ulloa and David Nugent all fired home for Leicester, turning the game on its head and picking up a famous 5-3 victory against the Red Devils.
One of Leicester's most crazy results Leicester have ever had was in a Premier League match in 2018. They shared nine goals with Spurs in a 2018 match that saw them throw away a 3-1 lead to lose the game 5-4.
Harry Kane and Eric Lamela scored a brace each to earn Spurs the win, relegating Leicester to a disappointing defeat in the league. Despite Riyad Mahrez, Kalechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy goals, a Christian Fuchs own goal lost the Foxes the game.
One of the craziest results Leicester fans will remember is their clash with Arsenal in the Premiership in 1997. The game was 2-1 going into injury time, with a Dennis Bergkamp double giving the Gunners the lead.
However, three injury-time goals changed the result entirely. Matt Elliott made it 2-2 on the 90th minute, before a Bergkamp hat-trick goal seemed to have stolen the win for Arsenal at the death. However, Steve Walsh scored a third injury time goal to steal a point for the Foxes, in one of the craziest matches of all time. The game ended 3-3.
One of the highest-scoring games in Leicester's history was a 10-0 drubbing of Portsmouth. This match took place in 1928, in the old First Division.
Not much is known about the match, although we know it was
