The statue for late Leicester City owner Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was unveiled on Monday at the King Power Stadium on what would have been his 64th birthday.

All five people on board his helicopter died on October 27th, 2018 as it was departing from the stadium.

Of course, Vichai oversaw the Foxes’ historic 2016 Premier League title-winning team.

Several Leicester City players and managers past and present were in attendance for the unveiling, including Brendan Rodgers, Claudio Ranieri, Craig Shakespeare, and Nigel Pearson.

Fans will get their first glimpse of the statue ahead of Leicester’s Europa Conference League quarter-final clash with PSV this Thursday.
