It’s widely believed that the future of Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva will be ‘sorted soon’ amid reports out of Portugal that the Foxes have received a bid for his services from Russia.

O Jogo claim that Spartak Moscow have made an attempt to bring in the 31-year-old this summer, though it’s unclear whether they are attempting to purchase the player or bring the Portugal international in on loan.

There’s also no information on how much Leicester City are asking for the player, who currently has just 12 months left on the original four-year deal he signed back in 2017.

Despite the substantial €25m fee Leicester paid for the player, Silva has made just 21 first-team appearances for the Foxes and has spent the last 18 months on loan at Monaco.

Monaco wanted to sign Silva this summer but due to the financial effects of the coronavirus pandemic, they are unable to afford him.
