Leicester City Interested In Signing Inter’s Christian Eriksen, Italian Journalist Confirms | OneFootball

Leicester City are thinking about making a move for Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to a report from an Italian journalist tonight.

As per Italian broadcaster Sportitalia reporter Gianluca Longari, the Premier League club are keen to bring the former Tottenham Hotspur star back to the top flight in England.

Longari has however warned that a deal will be difficult to reach and it will be expensive given Eriksen’s bumper salary.

His report comes shortly after a report from The Telegraph, which said the Foxes had baulked at Eriksen’s £300,000 per week wages and have since stepped back.

Eriksen has been widely linked with a move away from Inter during this transfer window having far from performed to expectations during his year in Milan.

The 28-year-old, who is under contract with the Nerazzurri until 2024 and is one of the club’s highest earners, has failed to make any goal contributions in 14 appearances across all competitions this season.
