Leeds United interested in signing Lyon’s Lucas Perri | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, Leeds United are interested in making a move for Lucas Perri (27) from Lyon during the summer transfer window. The Brazilian goalkeeper could be available on a cut-price deal, with the pressure on OL to raise finances following the decision from the DNCG to relegate them to Ligue 2 due to poor financial management.

Perri is seen as one of many players expected to depart the Groupama Stadium before the transfer window closes. Leeds are interested in the 27-year-old as they look to upgrade on Ilan Meslier, who came under increased scrutiny last season for some error-laden performances.

The newly promoted Premier League side are not the only club interested in signing Perri. Saudi Arabian outfit Neom SC have also shown an interest in signing the Brazilian international and are willing to submit a bid in the region of €15m to acquire the OL stopper’s services.
