Het Nieuwsblad is reporting that Leeds United and Hoffenheim are interested in signing Jordan Torunarigha from Gent. The 26-year-old currently has one more year left on his contract. Torunarigha was born in Germany and did make a handful of appearances for the German national team at the 2021 Olympics before switching to Nigeria in 2023. He has played 42 games for Gent this season, grabbing one goal and two assists.

After leaving Chemnitz youth set-up to join Hertha Berlin as a youngster, Torunarigha made his senior debut for the club from the German capital during the 2016/2017 Bundeslig acampaign. He went on to make 81 appearances for the club, scoring six goals and providing five assists. He fell out of favour at Hertha and ended up signing for Gent on loan at the back end of the 2021/2022 season. Gent made the move permanent in the summer for just €3m, a bargain for a player of his quality in the Belgian league. The defender has been one of the sides best players since joining but would likely be open to a move. Transfermarkt currently value the player at €5m.
