Vertu Trophy Draw confirmed for Leeds United U21s | OneFootball

The Group Stage draw for the 2025/26 Vertu Trophy has been announced, with Leeds United Under-21s to face Port Vale, Fleetwood Town and Accrington Stanley in Group G of the Northern section.

Scott Gardner’s side will begin their campaign with a trip to Vale Park on the week commencing 1st September, before heading to the west coast to face Fleetwood Town on w/c 6th October.

Leeds will then round off Group G with an encounter at the Wham Stadium with Accrington Stanley on w/c 10th November, with all matches for U21s sides being played away from home.

Last campaign, Port Vale won promotion from Sky Bet League Two after finishing in second place, with Fleetwood and Accrington earning 14th and 21st-place finishes respectively in the fourth tier.

Should United place in the top two following their three group stage fixtures, the team will then progress to the knockout rounds, with Vertu Trophy fixtures remaining regionalised until the Quarter-Final stage.

The EFL’s record domestic rights deal with broadcaster Sky Sports will see every Vertu Trophy match broadcast live on Sky Sports for fans in the UK.
