Leeds United have sent a message to Liverpool to forget about trying for Patrick Bamford this summer.
The Daily Star says Bamford has emerged as a surprise target of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who is weighing up a summer bid for the striker.
Klopp has put Bamford on his wanted list as he looks to strengthen his squad following a woeful season that has seen his side deposed as champions and struggle to secure a top four finish.
But Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is determined to keep Bamford at Elland Road.
The Argentine has made it clear how important Bamford is to the continued progress of his side and told club bosses he cannot be sold, however much Liverpool are willing to pay.
Bamford is said to be flattered by speculation liking him with a move to Anfield, but has no desire to leave Leeds and wants to help them push for a place in Europe next season.
