Leeds United’s clash with Arsenal has been suspended after just two minutes due to a power cut at Elland Road.

Shortly after kick-off, electrical issues in the stands led to lighting flashing on and off continuously.

Both clubs have confirmed that the officials’ technology, including VAR, goal-line and communications systems, is not working as a result of the issue.

After seven minutes of the players remaining warm on the field, they then exited to return to the dressing room as stadium employees attempted to rectify the problem.

And it has now been confirmed that play will resume at 14:40 local time.
