The 26-year-old has been forced to watch on from the sidelines in recent weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.

During Graham’s absence, the Blues have only managed to pick up one point from their last three league fixtures.

Birmingham would have been hoping to deliver an encouraging performance against Fulham last night.

However, Bowyer’s side were outclassed by the Championship leaders who sealed a 6-2 victory at Craven Cottage.

An own-goal from Marc Roberts gave Fulham the lead in the 10th minute of this fixture.

Neeskens Kebano, Fabio Carvalho and Tom Cairney all managed to find the back of the net as the Cottagers raced into a 4-0 lead.

Ivan Sunjic and Gary Gardner scored either side of the break to give Birmingham a glimmer of hope of securing a remarkable comeback.

However, Fabio Carvalho added a fifth for Fulham in the 75th minute before Antonee Robinson netted his side’s sixth goal of the game in stoppage-time.

Following Birmingham’s latest setback, Bowyer shared an injury update on Graham.

Speaking in his post-match press conference (as cited by the Birmingham Mail) about Graham, the Blues boss said: “Jordan Graham is training so today [Tuesday] would have been his second day training.

“He will be in and around the squad but he has been out for a long time.

Did Birmingham ever loan Che Adams to Sheffield United?

Yes No

“If not the weekend then Tuesday.”

The Verdict

When you consider that Birmingham are currently on a poor run of form in the Championship, they will be hoping that Graham will be able to help them get back on track when he is ready to make his return to action.

The former Gillingham man has only managed to demonstrate glimpses of his talent in the second-tier this season as he has provided two direct goal contributions in nine appearances.

Utilised predominantly on the right-hand side of the pitch by the Blues, Graham could potentially feature on a regular basis for the club if he makes a positive impression in their upcoming fixtures.

Whilst the winger may not be fit enough to play in Saturday’s clash with Barnsley, he could feature when Birmingham host Peterborough United at St Andrew’s next Tuesday.
