Lecce goal-keeper Wladimiro Falcone reacted to his side’s defeat to Roma and the recent transfer links with the Giallorossi.
A noted Roma fan, Falcone told reporters after the game, “The ambition to play in a top club is always there, then I never have hidden the fact that I am a Roma fan and for me it would be a dream to play here.”
“You never stop dreaming, if the opportunity arises I will have to be ready. Now I’m thinking about Lecce, I have a 5-year contract here.”
“For me it is an honor to be the first goalkeeper to save a penalty in Serie A from Lukaku, then doing it here in Rome was an honour. I had studied it, you have to choose an angle. I followed my instinct and it went well. The second save was instinctive, he shot in my direction, the ball could have passed under the legs but I saved it.”
“Tonight we have a lot of regrets. Losing like this in the final minutes cannot happen. We are ready to restart on Saturday.”
