Though Wolves supporters had great cause for concern after Leander Dendoncker experienced both knee and groin pain against Switzerland, the midfielder started and went the full 90 minutes in Wednesday’s 4-2 Belgium victory over Denmark.

As a result, Belgium clinched their place in the Nations League semi-finals after entering the match just two points ahead of their opponents.

Dendoncker was a big part of the win, dishing out an early assist to Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans just three minutes into the contest.

The 25-year-old is now in line to start in Wolves’ Monday Night Football clash against Southampton.

Dendoncker has been sensational this season alongside Ruben Neves, being able to provide comfort in the back as well as in the centre of the park.
