In his first season in Ligue 1, Oussama Targhalline (22) showed promise with Le Havre AC. With the midfielder’s contract expiring at the end of the upcoming season, Les Ciel et Marines are looking to tie him down to a new deal, however, they must contend with competition, as per L’Équipe.
It could be a long summer at Le Havre. The DNCG, French football’s financial watchdog, have imposed sanctions on the club, meaning that their wage bill will be closely monitored. Sales must be made if they are to secure incomings, however, the focus for now is on tying down some of their key assets to longer deals, as is the case with Targhalline.
The midfielder, who is set to compete in the Olympics with the Morocco international team, has received a contract renewal offer from Le Havre after making 14 Ligue 1 appearances in the last campaign. However, L’Équipe understands that French and Italian clubs are interested, as are Glasgow Rangers, who are very keen to recruit the talented prospect.
