Lazio president Claudio Lotito was given the green light to leave the hospital after spending two days at the medical facility.

Lotito Suffered Health Scare on Thursday

The Biancocelesti patron fell ill on Tuesday while performing his duties at the senate in Rome. Some sources revealed that the 68-year-old suffered from breathing difficulties, so he was rushed to the Gemelli Hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment.

Claudio Lotito Released from Hospital

After two days filled with clinical tests, Lotito received the all-clear to leave the hospital on Thursday, as reported by several sources in the Italian press, including Gianluca Di Marzio. Following his departure, the Lazio owner made sure to thank everyone who took care of him over the past couple of days, as well as the people who stood by him.

I would like to express my sincere gratitutde to the medical and healthcare staff at the A. Gemelli University Hospital for the professionalism, dedication, and attention throughout two days of testing. A special thanks also goes everyone who has shown me affection in these hours, through messages, phone calls, and expressions of solidarity.

Lotito also took the opportunity to laud Italy’s healthcare system.

The experience I have had in these hours has strengthened my belief in the excellence of our healthcare system, founded on competence, humanity, and a spirit of service.
