Lausanne-Sport are continuing their hunt in Serie A, contacting Milan to explore a loan deal for winger Chaka Traore.
The Swiss side have already looked to the Italian topflight in this January transfer window, signing talented youngster Simone Pafundi from Udinese on a six-month loan deal with a €15m buy option attached.
Traore joined Milan’s youth system from Parma in the summer of 2021 for around €600,000 and broke into Stefano Pioli’s first team earlier this season, making his debut in a 3-1 win over Frosinone. He scored his first Serie A goal in the 3-0 win over Empoli this month.
As reported by TMW, Lausanne-Sport initially opened talks with Milan last week to start exploring a possible loan move for Davide Bartesaghi before turning their attention to Traore, who has now become the focus of negotiations between the two clubs.
Confidence is high that a loan deal can be agreed in the final days of this January transfer window, giving the teenager a chance for more regular first team action in the second half of this season.
