Kylian Mbappé was the star of the show as Paris Saint-Germain beat Monaco 2-0 to win the Coupe de France and stay on course for a domestic Treble.
Scorers: Icardi 21âČ, MbappĂ© 82âČ
With Neymar suspended it was left to Kylian MbappĂ© and Mauro Icardi to lead the line for Mauricio Pochettinoâs side.
And it was the Argentina international who got the opening goal on 21 minutes as he tapped in after Mbappé capitalised on a Monaco mistake.
It was the bright spot in a dominant first half for PSG, who had a monopoly on possession and in Mbappé, had an easy out-ball.
Into the second half and this cagey game continued in much the same vein with Monaco having their first shot on goal with 15 minutes left.
It was Mbappé though, who was lighting up the occasion and almost scored a 40 yard chip, but for the Parc des Princes crossbar.
The World Cup winner eventually did get the goal his performance deserved however, chipping home with eight minutes of the game remaining.
