Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker is considering an exit from the club this summer, according to The Atheltic.

The 33-year-old is reportedly unhappy about the bit-part role he played for the Cityzens as they won their domestic treble.

Walker did fight and re-entered the first team, but manager Pep Guardiola dropped him for Manuel Akanji in the Champions League final. This decision did not go down well with the player.

Walker has offers from boyhood club Sheffield United and the Saudi League. He has not decided on his future yet.

Walker has a deal that runs out next year, but it looks like he will not see out the contract.

Walker has been a crucial part of Guardiola’s side since joining them from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 for around £50 million.

Since joining City, Walker has scored six goals and provided 18 assists in 254 appearances for the club.

In addition, he has secured every available domestic trophy, including the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, and Community Shield.

They secured their first Champions League title against Inter Milan days ago, completing an acclaimed treble.

Walker might feel it is time to look for a new challenge as he enters the twilight of his career.

Also, City will likely lose another right-back in Joao Cancelo. The Portuguese international fell out with Guardiola and is on his way out of the club.

Cancelo spent the second half of the season at Bayern Munich, but the Bavarians did not take the option to sign him permanently.

They have let him return to England, and he will find another destination. Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on in his services.

Furthermore, City will sell Aymeric Laporte this summer. He has found game time hard to come by with Nathan Ake, Akanji, and Ruben Dias ahead of him.
