According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Victor Kristiansen is unwilling to return to Leicester City at the end of the season, but Bologna are unsure about making his move permanent.
The Denmark international moved to the Stadio Dall’Ara on loan with an option to buy last summer and has been given regular playing time by Thiago Motta this season.
Kristiansen has delivered three assists in 18 Serie A games so far, the last one in a 4-2 win over Sassuolo on Saturday.
However, the 21-year-old has had many highs and lows this term and even if Motta has recently praised the defender, Bologna are unsure about signing him permanently for €15m in the summer.
Wednesday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, on page 21, claims Bologna directors are still assessing the defender’s performances before making a final decision on his future at the club.
According to the report, Kristiansen is unwilling to return to Leicester City in 2024-25. Last summer, he left the King Power Stadium because he wanted to play as a left-back in a four-man defence, which was not granted in Enzo Maresca’s system.
