According to Sky Sport Italia, there’s an epic striker merry-go-round sending Randal Kolo-Muani to Atletico Madrid, Alvaro Morata to Milan, Victor Osimhen to PSG and Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea to Napoli.
Most of the big clubs seem to be hunting for new centre-forwards this summer and Joshua Zirkzee has been taken out of the equation after Manchester United agreed to pay both the €40m release clause to Bologna and the €15m commission for his agent, which Milan refused to do.
The Rossoneri therefore turned to Morata instead and are confident he will agree the return to Serie A, especially as Atletico Madrid have made no secret of their desire to find other strikers.
Now Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims this is part of a remarkable domino effect.
If Morata goes to Milan, then Atletico Madrid will try to replace him with France international Kolo-Muani, who is currently at Paris Saint-Germain.
Then PSG will be able to invest in Osimhen, as Napoli are refusing to sell Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and desperately want to be rid of the Nigeria international, even for less than the €120m release clause.
Once Napoli sell Osimhen, they can purchase Antonio Conte’s favourite Lukaku from Chelsea.
