Bayern Munich wide man Kingsley Coman has admitted that the club may need to bring in some new players to lower the average age of the squad.

The Bavarian giants have one of the oldest sides in the Bundesliga this term, and featured five starters age 30 or over against Borussia Dortmund last weekend, with two more players in the XI age 29.

That age situation is something Coman admitted might need addressing in future transfer windows, with the club recently linked with Aaron Ramsey and Kostas Manolas.

“We have a very good team, but it’s true: it’s ageing a bit,” Coman is quoted as saying by Goal.

“You must think about new players at the right time.”

Coman is currently recovering from an ankle injury picked up at the start of the campaign but is scheduled to return to training before the end of the year.
