Kevin-Prince Boateng has always been a player capable of producing spectacular moments.

For a brief time at AC Milan, the Ghanian maverick combined his unquestionable flair with some impressive consistency.

During the 2011/12 season, Boateng was at the very top of his game, netting nine goals and contributing six assists in his 27 appearances across all competitions.

Three of those goals were scored in one game versus Lecce in Serie A and that hat-trick came in less than 15 minutes after the 34-year-old had entered the fray from the bench.

But while that treble was a magnificent feat, it still wasn't a patch on the goal Boateng scored a month later versus Barcelona.

It's a strike that represents arguably the most spectacular moment of the dynamic midfielder's playing career.

We feel the goal is still criminally underrated as well...

Barcelona visited San Siro for both teams' penultimate 2011/12 Champions League group game, with the Spanish side eventually securing victory by a scoreline of 3-2.

Xavi Hernandez grabbed the winner for the Blaugrana in the 63rd-minute, but shortly before that, Boateng equalised for the hosts in ridiculously stylish fashion.

The Ghanian showed off his flexibility to bring the ball under his spell, performed an outrageously extravagant flick that left Eric Abidal chasing shadows and then produced an unstoppable shot that flew past Victor Valdes.

We're going to stick our neck out and say that Boateng's masterpiece versus Barcelona is one of the greatest and most unique goals in Champions League history.

It had absolutely everything you could want and no one else has come close to replicating that FIFA Street-esque skill move on the biggest club stage of all ever since.

Funnily enough, just over eight years after his iconic goal against Barcelona, Boateng joined the Spanish club on a short-term loan deal.

It was a move that didn't really work out for either party, with the player making just four appearances in all competitions.

Boateng is now on the books at Hertha Berlin after short, uneventful stints at Fiorentina, Besiktas and Monza.
