Manchester City were rampant in the first half of the Manchester derby and, although Phil Foden and Erling Haaland grabbed the bigger headlines, Kevin De Bruyne silently continues to pull the strings.
It was the Belgian internationalās corner that Haaland headed home for the second City goal of the match before, minutes later, the player maker was feeding the Norweigan again.
From open play this time, De Bruyneās delightful clipped ball into the box was poked home by a fully extended Haaland at the back post as their on-field relationship continues to blossom.
With those two assists, the 31-year-old has now overtaken Man City legend David Silva in the all-time Premier League assist charts ā in 91 fewer games no less!
The question remains, how on earth De Bruyne has never been awarded a Premier League Player of the Month award?
