Kevin De Bruyne has opened up on a multitude of topics ranging from whether he prefers Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester or Brussels, and whether he’d prefer to win the European Championships or the UEFA Champions League.
Speaking during a quick-fire questions feature on YouTube with ESPN, Kevin De Bruyne was joined by his Belgium teammate Romelu Lukaku to make some really difficult footballing and general topic decisions in a short space of time.
ESPN pitched the pairing against decision such as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo, scoring a goal or registering an assist, and even choosing between their current homes over the Belgian capital, Brussels.
Here’s just a selection of Kevin De Bruyne’s decisions during the feature:
Assisting over scoring a goal
Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo (Welcome… no, I’m not going to say it…)
Anfield over Old Trafford (Good decision, Kev)
Neymar over Kylian Mbappe
Manchester over Brussels
Perhaps more interestingly, when De Bruyne was questioned on choosing between winning the European Championships with Belgium or winning the UEFA Champions League with Manchester City, the midfielder chose winning the former.
However his reasoning was very valid. De Bruyne quickly followed up saying, “Because I’ve got more chances for the Champions League…”
