Karim Benzema's agent responds to AC Milan rumours | OneFootball

Napoli have denied interest in Karim Benzema but links with AC Milan will not go away.

Reports in Italy say the French striker has been in talks with the club, with Sky Italy even claiming Benzema has agreed to join the Serie A club, with Gennaro Gattuso speaking to the player directly.

According to AS, Real Madrid are willing to let Benzema leave as they look to reshape their attack following the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.

One Real Madrid fan said they were waiting for comments on the rumours from Benzema’s agent Karim Djaziri and they received one:

A little ambiguous.

When this tweet was pointed out to Gianluca Di Marzio, who is reporting on the negotiations, the journalist tweeted a scathing response.

“He can laugh as much as he wants… maybe he won’t laugh if and when the player changes agent. And when he finds out that Benzema made other intermediaries talk to Milan. And he spoke to Gattuso himself.”

Milan are said to have agreed to match Benzema’s €9m salary and could offer the 30-year-old a contract to 2022.
