Karim Benzema will be obliged to appear in Criminal Court in Versailles.
The Real Madrid striker is suspected of “attempted blackmail” in a case from 2015.

Benzema has been accused of suggesting ex-France team-mate Mathieu Valbuena should pay blackmailers who threatened to reveal a private video of him.
The scandal all but ended Benzema’s international career and is still not resolved.
