L’Équipe are reporting that Karamoko Dembélé (21) is set to join Queens Park Rangers this summer from Stade Brestois. The London-born winger who has represented Scotland and England in the under-age brackets will join the West London side for a €2 million fee.

It had looked certain that Dembélé would be leaving Brest this summer after the club announced that he had no future in Brittany. The winger had struggled for game time since he joined the club in 2022 where he made only 18 appearances for the Northern side.

Last season, Dembélé was given the chance to find more consistent playing time when he was sent out on loan to Blackpool FC in League One. Blackpool relied more heavily on the winger fielding him in 39 games as the club narrowly missed out on a spot in the play-offs.

His work in England has earned him a step up the English pyramid and QPR will be hoping that he can bring some of his form for Blackpool (9 goals and 14 assists across all competitions) to their efforts this season in the Championship.
