After progressing against Arsenal FC, Real Madrid are the next top-class opponents awaiting the record champions in the semi-finals of the Champions League. For Harry Kane, it will be a clash with his England team-mate Jude Bellingham. The Bayern star has now praised the 20-year-old’s development, but has also issued a clear challenge to the Spaniards.

On British portal Hayters TV, Kane enthused about Bellingham: „Jude has had a fantastic season, he’s a really top player and I’m obviously delighted for him.“

Nevertheless, the England captain announced: „But it will be another war against his team. That’s the experience we both went abroad for, to have those big nights in the Champions League and play in big semi-finals.“

„It will obviously be an experience for both of us,“ the 30-year-old continued: „Of course I’ll say hello, but when we’re both on the pitch, it’s about giving our best for the team.“

Although no Premier League club is in the semi-finals, Kane is convinced: „I’m sure there will be a lot of English fans watching us as well, but we just have to focus on ourselves.“

German Champions League final possible

The first leg against Real Madrid will take place on 30 April at the Allianz Arena, with the record champions coming to the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid a week later.

A German Champions League final is possible. Borussia Dortmund also reached the semi-finals after a strong performance against Atlético Madrid and now awaits Paris Saint-Germain.

If both German teams win their semi-final matches, it would be a reunion at Wembley Stadium in London, just like in 2013 – when Bayern had the better end.
