Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is reportedly growing angry and seeking clarification from the club about his future.
The reason for his frustration is that the calendar has now reached the end of August and his status remains very much up in the air.
That is according to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, which details the Senegal international’s irritation with his situation.
Manchester City remain the frontrunners for his signature and have had a €63 million bid already turned down.
The Partenopei are holding out for €70m at least but the upshot of the bargaining is that Koulibaly is the man in the middle who is unsure where he will be next season.
He has apparently asked the club to clarify their own stance on his situation because he is unhappy about the uncertainty.
Koulibaly remains happy at the Stadio San Paolo and still has three years left on a deal worth €6m per year, making him one of Napoli’s highest earners.
But he is now ‘tired of waiting and wants concrete answers’ about the project he will be part of next year – be it City, Napoli or even Paris Saint-Germain.
