It seems that Nasreddine Nabi and his technical team want some reinforcements for next season in particular because they want to compete next season in a big way unlike last season which ended with a single title with the Tunisian coach.

A good deal for the South African team

Although some press reports indicated that the deal had already been completed in favour of Amakhosi, the South African side have yet to finalise the signing of Cameroonian striker Etiosa Ighodaro from last winter's transfer window.

The future of striker Chibuike Ohizu remains uncertain amid conflicting reports about his next move. While initial June reports suggested the 24-year-old had joined Kaizer Chiefs following the expiration of his Mamelodi Sundowns contract after a loan spell at AmaZulu, fresh information contradicts this narrative.

A well-placed source has clarified to Soccer Laduma that no deal with Amakhosi has been finalized. "Despite widespread speculation about Ighodaro's move to Chiefs, the rumors of a completed signing are premature," revealed the insider. "The player remains open to opportunities both in South Africa and overseas, with no final decision made yet."

The former Chippa United and SuperSport United loanee now finds himself at a career crossroads as he weighs his options for the upcoming season.
