Serie A side Juventus eye up a potential move for Porto’s Galeno and he is one of their key targets this summer.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has indicated that there will be three new signings, one for each department. The Bianconeri have shortlisted Porto winger Galeno for a transfer if Matias Soule leaves this summer.

The 26-year-old is seen as an economically viable addition to the team as he will not take up a non-EU spot since he has a Portuguese passport and can pay rich dividends in the long term. Porto are in desperate times as they have to raise money to adhere to financial fair play rules and they will be ready to accept a bid of around €30-40 million for Galeno.

Juventus have also lined up other options in the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi and Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho but these two candidates will cost the club more.
