During the January transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain sent Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus on loan for the remainder of the 2024-25 season. The French forward had other suitors, including Tottenham, but ultimately made the move to Serie A.

Kolo Muani adds depth and quality to Thiago Motta’s squad, offering versatility in attack whether playing centrally or out wide. His skillset makes him a valuable addition to the Bianconeri as they push forward this season.

The 26-year-old has made an immediate impact in Italy, scoring three goals in his first two league appearances. If he maintains this form, PSG should have no trouble securing a sale and recovering a significant portion of the €95 million they spent on him in 2023.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are already thinking about opening talks with PSG to keep Kolo Muani. The Italian club are looking to propose a new loan deal until 2026, including a €45 million purchase option.

With Kolo Muani in great form and Juventus unlikely to spend big to keep him long-term, could a Premier League move be on the horizon? On the latest episode of PSG Talking, Football Transfers’ Robin Bairner shared his thoughts on the striker’s future.

“He clearly didn’t fit at PSG, but if he continues to score with Juventus at a high rate and impress in Serie A, teams are absolutely going to be interested in him. We’ve seen so many strikers come onto the market this January—or rather, not come onto the market. There are a whole bunch of strikers top teams are interested in.

“Just to name a few: Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyökeres, and Benjamin Šeško. It feels like too many clubs are wrestling to sign these strikers, and Kolo Muani will have to come into the equation somewhere in the summer. If he continues to score, maybe reaching 10 goals in Serie A, that would be an outstanding return.”
