Juventus’ Weston Mckennie is very close to joining Premier League side Leeds United on a permanent transfer.
Leeds are totally in for the US International after making concrete moves in the last few hours. According to a report from Gianluca di Marzio, Jesse Marsch’s side have increased their previous offer of €28 million to €30 million plus bonuses, thus showing their focus on gaining the services of the Bianconeri midfielder.
Though the present offer is still short of Juventus’ asking price of around €35 million, Leeds are now confident that both parties will be able to reach an agreement in the next few days.
There is not much demand surrounding McKennie and this is why a few more days of negotiations are expected before the player signs with the Premier League outfit. Leeds expect Juventus to come up with a ‘yes’ to their proposal in the next few hours so that they can continue with contract details for the player.
