Juventus will receive an 11-point deduction in the coming days for their capital gain irregularities, according to Sky Italia.

There is an ongoing re-evaluation in the Italian Football Federation’s (FIGC) Federal Court of Appeal. The Bianconeri had received a 15-point deduction earlier in the season.

The FIGC accused Juventus of fixing their balance sheets earlier this year by including artificial gains on their club transfers.

However, the FIGC’s higher court removed the punishment after the Turin club appealed the initial decision.

But it looks like they will still receive their punishment. The re-evaluation trial starts at 10.00 am local time and will happen remotely.

While Pavel Nedved’s ban was lifted, Andrea Agnelli, Fabio Paratici, Maurizio Arrivabene and Federico Cherubini remained barred from certain activities.

But with the new punishment, Nedved will serve his initial eight-month ban from football.

An 11-point deduction is a severe blow to Juventus, potentially pushing them as low as eighth in the league table and depriving them of a coveted spot in European football.

With Sevilla knocking them out of the Europa League, Juve have no alternate means of qualifying for Europe.

The outcome of this hearing will undoubtedly have far-reaching consequences for Juventus, its players and its fervent supporters. The implications stretch beyond just a numerical penalty.

European dreams hang in the balance, and the club’s reputation is at stake. The footballing world is waiting with bated breath for the final verdict.

Regardless of the ultimate decision, the ramifications of this case will ripple through the corridors of Italian football.
