Juventus are now keen to fend off competition from Inter to potentially land Lille’s Tiago Djalo in January.

The ex-Milan youngster Djalo has been heavily linked with a move to Inter, who are likely to land him on a free transfer in January. But it seems as if Juve are providing stiff competition.

Sky Italia state that while Djalo had given his priority to Inter, Juve’s inclusion in the race could change things as they want to sign him right away in January. Juve are considering the offer as they look to beat Inter, just like they did in the case of Bremer.

Juve would be ready to pay a compensation to sign him right away and would then decide whether to keep him in the squad or loan him out soon after. Talks are on between the parties but nothing has been decided yet. One thing is for sure and it is that Juve have a firm chance of landing the defender.
