The Italian coach has informed the Serie A club that he has several clubs from around Europe approaching him with the potentiality of becoming their new manager, Foot Mercato reports. Nevertheless, he has so far stayed loyal to Bologna. At the helm of the Emilia-Romagna-based club, Motta is enjoying a superb season. Bologna sit fourth in the Italian top flight at the time of writing with an unprecedented qualification for the Champions League next season a distinct possibility.

Staying at Bologna is possible

After such an impressive season, Juventus have earmarked the former Italian manager as their priority target to replace Max Allegri. However, should Bologna complete a historic season and qualify for the Champions League, Motta could be tempted to reject the approaches from Juventus and other European clubs, according to Foot Mercato.
