Juventus will have their first full training session following the international break on Thursday morning, as Massimiliano Allegri welcomes back a long list of international representatives ahead of Saturday’s away game against Lazio in Serie A.

Juve players were called in for a session on Wednesday afternoon, which largely consisted of recovery work for the returning internationals.

There were 12 Juventus players involved in international matches over the break, including three Italians in Andrea Cambiaso, Manuel Locatelli and Federico Chiesa.

Captain Danilo and fellow defender Bremer were called up by Brazil for their European friendlies against England and Spain. Adrien Rabiot returned to the France squad, Weston McKennie and Timothy Weah won the CONCACAF Nations League final with the USA and Wojciech Szczesny helped secure a spot at Euro 2024 for Poland.

Kenan Yildiz, Filip Kostic and Samuel Iling-Junior were on duty for Turkey, Serbia and England U21s respectively, with the latter grabbing a brace in a 7-0 victory over Luxembourg on Tuesday.

There was a light session for all of Juve’s non-international players on Wednesday, except for Arkadiusz Milik and Carlos Alcaraz, who continue their injury rehabilitations.
