Juventus have recently intensified their interest in Jorginho, with the Italy international considering his future at Chelsea.
In his exclusive report, Daniele Longo claims that there have been the “first exploratory contacts” between Juventus and the entourage of Jorginho over a potential transfer to Turin this summer. The report understands that the 30-year-old is fine at Chelsea but is reluctant to rule out moving back to Serie A this summer.
Juventus, however, need two issues to be fixed before ramping up their interest in the Italian midfield maestro. First of all, the Bianconeri will have to offload Arthur, who is admired by Mikel Arteta and could join Arsenal in the summer.
On the other hand, the sanctions, imposed by the British government and FIFA on Chelsea and the club’s current owner Roman Abramovich, have blocked all routes of an intended transfer. The club can not sell or buy any players at the moment. Juventus will have to wait until the London-based club get new owners. Federico Cherubini will try to lure the player away from England in the summer. Joginho’s current deal at Chelsea expires in June 2023.
