Juventus’ form shows why Max Allegri should depart the club | OneFootball

For a while earlier today, it seemed as if Salernitana were going to get their first Serie A win of 2024 when they were 1-0 up against Juventus. While the Bianconeri did equalise, they could only get a point from the game and they remained fourth in the table.

As of now, Juve are at risk of finishing as low as fifth in the table. But it isn’t their league position that is alarming. In their last 17 games, the Old Lady have won just four times in the Serie A and that is a horrendous period of form for a team that seemed in the title race when the year was just starting off.

One of those wins has come against relegation threatened Frosinone and the other two have come Lecce and Sassuolo, who are also in the bottom of the bottom of the table. On top of that, they have not won even once in their last five gamees in the Serie A and their only win in their period came in the Coppa Italia against Lazio, who had beaten them a game before.

There are doubts about Max Allegri’s future and the recent form is only going to increase that doubt.
