Juventus have registered a firm interest in Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi after numerous convincing performances from the goalkeeper this season.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Atalanta are set to receive bids from Juventus and other foreign clubs this summer for their goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi. La Dea are looking to sell him for a minimum offer of €40 million but the Bianconeri will aim to lower this valuation through negotiations.
The goalkeeper from Rimini is considered by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli as the perfect profile needed by Juventus at the moment. It would be a low-risk investment as the 23-year-old has proven himself in the Serie A.
Marco Carnesecchi has been the pioneer behind Atalanta’s charge for a European spot this season as he has pulled off crucial saves from in between the sticks across multiple tougher opponents.
The summer transfer window is still some time away but the Old Lady is aware that Premier League clubs might join the race for the goalkeeper soon. It is now up to the Turin-based giants to take a final call on Carnesecchi before the bidding war starts.
