Juventus will be without Arkadiusz Milik for a while longer after he underwent surgery to clear up a meniscus injury in his left knee.
The Poland international was forced to miss the EURO 2024 tournament with the knee problem that he sustained in June.
He had been due to make his comeback soon, but a statement from the club this afternoon confirmed that this return will be significantly delayed.
The centre-forward underwent arthroscopic suturing of the medial meniscal residue of his left knee, announced Juventus via their official website.
The player’s recovery time will be defined following further clinical checks.
It was performed at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome and it remains to be seen how long he will be out for, but Milik is now likely not to be fully fit until 2025.
He has made 75 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri, scoring 17 goals and providing two assists.
