There are more concerns for Juventus, as Danilo finished the 2-2 draw with Verona limping badly after spraining his ankle and more tests will be needed.

Initial reports suggest that Danilo suffered a sprain to the left ankle and will undergo further tests over the next few days.

The captain was making his comeback after missing the 1-0 defeat to Udinese through suspension and played the full match at the Stadio Bentegodi.

He landed awkwardly after a jump and had several minutes of treatment, but as Juventus had completed all five substitutions, he had to grit his teeth and stay on the pitch for the final five minutes plus stoppages.

In order to make sure he did not run too much and was not a weak point of the defence, Danilo moved into a more advanced position during that spell of the game.

Gleison Bremer was out suspended today, further weakening the defence in their 2-2 stalemate with Hellas Verona.
