Juventus and Napoli have approached Shakhtar talent Georgiy Sudakov for a potential move.
According to a tweet by Fabrizio Romano, Serie A outfits Juventus and Napoli have emerged as top contenders to land the signature of Ukrainian top talent Georgiy Sudakov during the January transfer window.
The two clubs have two different visions to sign the midfielder. The player has been on the Bianconeri’s wishlist for a long time and have established contacts by sending club scouts. The Partenopei’s will is to replace outgoing midfielder Elif Elmas with the 21-year-old.
There is set to be a transfer battle between the top two Serie A sides for the Ukrainian international as both outfits are searching for a talented midfielder in the market. Massimiliano Allegri’s side urgently need an asset in midfield after losing Paul Pogba, Nicolo Fagioli and Manuel Locatelli for diverse reasons. The Neaolitans need to bring in some new faces to assist them in climbing up the league table.
Shakhtar’s asking remains around the figure of €35 million and a bid is expected to be already on the table. It is time for these two sides to match that up and secure the signing.
Sudakov is a regular for Shakhtar Donetsk as he has featured in all Champions League group-stage games this season. He has starred ten times in the Ukrainian Premier League this season, netting twice.
