La Gazzetta dello Sport reiterates that Antonio Conte is the leading candidate for the Milan and Juventus jobs in 2025-26, which means the Italian tactician has taken ‘revenge’ on the Serie A giants who snubbed him last summer.
Conte is under contract with Napoli until June 2027, but according to Gazzetta and other reputable Italian media, both Juventus and Milan have made the 55-year-old their primary target for next summer.
Napoli quickly bounced back with Conte in charge this season, going from the 10th spot in 2023-24 to second place in the current campaign, just three points below table leaders Inter.

Gazzetta notes that Milan and Juventus’ interest in Conte is like a ‘revenge’ for the Italian tactician, who had offered his services to both sides over the summer.
However, both Serie A giants opted for different profiles.
RedBird Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic even suggested Conte was not suited for the Milan job, and the Napoli boss hit back over the summer, saying that he’s a coach who makes his voice heard, which could “annoy” somebody.
The Rossoneri replaced Paulo Fonseca with Sergio Conceiçao in December, while the Bianconeri swapped Thiago Motta with Igor Tudor this week.
Conte is a former Juventus midfielder and coach who has already won three Scudetti on the Old Lady’s dugout.
