A few days ago, rumours came out that Julián Araujo could follow Roberto ‘Piojo’ Alvarado to Chivas for the 2022 Apertura season.
However, Araujo recently revealed in an interview with ‘LA Soccer Hub’ that he only has dreams of going to Europe.
“I don’t know if this will be my last season with the LA Galaxy. I have goals, I have ambitions, I have dreams of going to play in leagues at a higher level.
“Going to Europe is my goal, it is my dream. I’m taking things every day, I’m not focused on that now but when the time comes, I will.
“What is done for me is for me. I’m not going to go to a team because my agent is looking for a team. I want to go to a team to develop myself, to be superior, to play at a higher level.
“If a team in a better league shows an interest in me, that’s what I will have in mind but my biggest focus right now is on the Galaxy.”
Araujo recently switched allegiances to Mexico back in October after Tata Martino convinced him to take a chance at making this year’s potential World Cup team.
